Hooray for Hatch End High School!!

Biggest smiles, gratitude and love for local school Hatch End High!⁣ 🤩⁣

We had no idea they had chosen us to donate their fundraising efforts to us for Black History Month. 𝗛𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 managed to raise the impressive total of £126.95! Many thanks to all students and staff for taking part, for your generous donations and for seeing us 🙏🏾🥹⁣

We are excited about developing this connection further 😍 and are earmarking this money in the budget for youth-centred healing arts activities 🎨🥳 ⁣ This is what we mean when we say “grassroots” 🌻🌳 ⁣

@rachelshapes Founder 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹 - “Education and youth wellbeing is a deep passion of mine. I’ve experienced adverse childhood experiences, and I know how lacking culturally informed care is childhood trauma within Black communities. Black Mind is what I was looking for when I was young with severe mental illness, so to be seen by the yutes and for them to be investing in us is huge to me. It tells me we are placed exactly where we need to be right now🧡”⁣
